Character Matters. Meet Sweetpea Dentistry
Tell us a little about your family, business, and role in the community.
Dr. Beth Nielsen grew up in Parker and graduated from Ponderosa High School in 1991. After completing her education she and her husband moved back to Parker. They have raised their children ten minutes away from the home she grew up in. Dr. Beth opened Sweetpea Children’s Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Ashley Barefoot joined the practice in 2014 and has been an amazing addition to the office and the community. They both love Parker and love serving children. Oral health is so important in one's overall well-being.
How did you get connected with MountainChild and why have you chosen to leverage your business to carry hope in the Himalayas?
MountainChild has such an amazing mission that touched both the doctor's hearts the very first time they heard of what MountainChild is doing for the most vulnerable in the Himalayas.
When people speak of the character of your business and leadership, what do you hope it will be marked by?
Dr. Beth and Dr. Ashley hope that Sweetpea Children’s Dentistry is known for loving others well.
As a community leader, what do you hope your sponsorship of Run4Hope 2020 will communicate to the people you serve?
When looking for opportunities to serve in the community or around the world they look for organizations that support children and their unique needs.
What will Run4Hope 2020 look like for your family and/or business?
We are looking forward to participating in this year's virtual run with our team and families!
