Camp for RANCH
For the first time this year we hosted a summer camp during Nepal's Dashain-holiday for the Kathmandu and Jumla RANCH. After a 3-day bus ride, the Jumla RANCH children arrived in Kathmandu for a week of games, activities, and cultural experiences. Despite their unique ethnic differences, the Kathmandu and Jumla RANCH children found a common bond in a shared week together. Throughout the week, the children were able to share stories, talents, and experiences with one another. One of the highlights of the camp was the thrill of riding on the zip-line.
We hope that events such as this can continue to build hope in the lives of the children of the remote Himalayas!
